Integrated solutions for photovoltaic energy and industrial automation

We have worked in industrial electrical systems, automation and photovoltaic energy since 1980. We give our clients one system that starts with the feasibility study and design, moves through licensing, procurement, construction and grid connection, and ends with performance monitoring that continues for as long as the facility runs — delivered turnkey.

About NAFORI

Engineering is our solid foundation; integrated solutions are our identity

NAFORI was founded in 1980 by Eng. Hussein Al-Nafori, an electrical engineer who graduated from Damascus University in 1977, specializing in electrical power. From the start, the company worked on electrical panels — lighting boards, main and sub-distribution boards, power-factor correction panels and conventional control panels.

Today NAFORI delivers integrated, effective solar solutions covering study, design, execution, supervision and commissioning. Engineering is the backbone of our success in this fast-moving field, backed by a team of specialized, qualified and licensed consulting engineers. We also provide industrial and engineering consultancy across many fields to help build our country.

Our services

One system, one point of responsibility

We can deliver an integrated system for every stage of a project, or provide each part separately — or the whole system together — for high performance and consistent execution.

  • Civil, mechanical and electrical works
  • Connection and synchronization with the national grid
  • Operational testing and handover
04

Monitoring & performance audit

Plant performance monitoring under annual or semi-annual contracts, and design-compliance audits of existing plants.

  • Daily, monthly and annual monitoring
  • Analysis of plant equipment data
  • Audits of existing plants against technical requirements
Automation & industrial power

Our oldest expertise — still at work every day

We entered power electronics in 2000 with variable-speed drives, PLCs and HMI panels, and in 2005 began delivering complete automation for concrete batching plants, precast concrete factories, and block and curbstone plants across the Arab world.

Our method

Six stages from idea to return

We aim to capture every requirement and need, so we can deliver an integrated, coherent system — built first for control, then for supervision, and finally for results and reporting.

Stage 01

Feasibility study

Analysing electrical demand and calculating return and payback period.

Stage 02

Modelling & design

PVsyst modelling and shading study, followed by detailed construction drawings.

Stage 03

Licensing

Approvals with the Ministry of Electricity, the Energy Research Center and the Engineers Association.

Stage 04

Procurement

Sourcing equipment, inspecting it and verifying it against technical specifications.

Stage 05

Construction & connection

Field works, full operational testing and turnkey handover.

Stage 06

Monitoring

Performance monitoring and predictive maintenance to protect the asset over its life.

From the field

Selected projects

From a 10-megawatt plant to a control panel in a block factory — what they share is the engineering document that comes before construction.

All projects→
Diesel savings

Nonstop to Net Zero

A plant connected to both the grid and generators, with or without export to the grid. The goal is the same: a stable supply and a lower cost per kilowatt-hour.

Carbon

Lower carbon dioxide emissions

Circularity

Better use of solar energy

Collaboration

A partnership that extends beyond handover

  • Plant connected to the grid and generators, with or without grid export
  • More efficient use of solar energy
  • Lower fuel purchasing costs
  • Lower carbon dioxide emissions
  • The optimal solution for areas with an unstable power supply
Living proof of study accuracy: at the 100 kW shops project in the Al-Nabk industrial zone, actual production reached 172,913 kWh in 2023 — that is 100.6 % of the yield predicted in the PVsyst study.
Monitoring system

A plant doesn't end at handover

We connect every plant to a monitoring system that reads the inverters in real time over RS-485 and uploads the data to a server, all the way to the client's screen. The figures we show come from meter readings and the inverter protocol.

  • Environmental conditions monitoring
  • Analysis of data from plant equipment
  • Daily, monthly and annual yield monitoring
  • Equipment performance checks

Electrical studies

Who we work for

We provide electrical studies and engineering consultancy for facilities that differ in size and load profile, but share one need: a system that is properly studied before it is built.

Sector 01

Industrial plants

Concrete, precast, block and curbstone plants, plus textile, food and pharmaceutical factories — automation, panels and photovoltaic energy.

Sector 02

Commercial & service facilities

Malls and shopping centres, office buildings, banks, hospitals and medical centres — complete electrical studies and PV systems.

Sector 03

Residential buildings & resorts

Residential buildings, villas and resorts — systems from 10 to 100 kW, plus building automation and control.

Accreditation

Energy Research Center

Our company is accredited by the Energy Research Center under Decision No. 840 dated 25/6/2023, with a team of specialized, qualified and licensed consulting engineers.
